Welcome to the league

We can use this to track the league.

Here are the rules I sent out:

$5/head into the pool. Winner takes all.

Every person picks four players. By Wednesday prior to the US Open you may replace UP TO THREE players. Prior to each of the last two Majors you may replace UP TO ONE player. You may not re-use any player previously chosen and then released. You may not pick Tiger.

Scoring is based upon cumulative rank - low score at the end wins. Missed Cuts must be punished – they count as lowest cut rank + 5 (if the cut resulted in 68 “places” then MC=73). You get a bonus -10 if you pick the winner. (Please note I’m using “rank”, not any score….first place = 1, 12th place = 12…)

Here's what I mean:

I pick four players tonight (Morris, Jones, Snead, Watson), and they finish the Masters in 10, 15, 25, MC (and the cut was as above, 68 places) respectively. I'd have a team score of 123. Then we accumulate those points over each of four majors. Let’s say I keep Ol’ Tom Morris throughout and he goes 10th, 1st, 25th, 8th. Then he’d get me 34 points for the season (44 plus the -10 bonus for winning the US Open).

Picks must be submitted for this weekend by midnight tonight.
